I think we (Thai people) will definitely not see this kind of action in Thailand from Chinese car brands.
Japanese car brands have already sponsored many sports events/teams in Thailand. I think there is no room for other nationalities of car brands.
Rugby/American football is not so popular in Thailand, but that is not my point.
h0ngcom disappointed with Mazda ********* dealership. It shouldn't have changed to Aion, but it did it. I haven't seen anyone buy and drive Aion in ********* yet.
Nissan ********* is changing to BYD too. Not yet announce the changes on social medias. Just see the sign in front of the dealer building. There are plenty of BYD users in the city before this first dealer! So I agree with this creation of BYD dealer. But destroying Nissan is too much.
Sometimes I see SOME dealers of Japanese car brands (NOT Toyota Honda Isuzu) switching to selling Chinese car brands. I think they are doing what they want, not really considering the needs of the majority of Thai consumers. I personally don't agree with that behaviors. Because that Japanese car brands are not yet dead. I seeing Thai people still want them, not Chinese cars, but they (some dealers) are abandoning the brands' consumers, users and fans. Regards.
