h0ngcom thought some Japanese politicians are ignoring Japanese people's hatred of Chinese cars/Chinese products/Chinese companies/Chinese capitalists/etc. so they allowed this deals to happen.

1. Is Japanese government wanna make the MF Ghost timelines come true?

"In the year 202X, self-driving cars has replaced internal combustion cars for everyday use."

(Then the mentioned "self-driving cars" are not internal combustion cars for sure, and h0ngcom thought it is most likely to mean"electric cars, both self-driving and not self-driving". In reality, it will happen much later than 202X (2029), and it may only happen partially.)

"MFG is an organisation that was founded in order to preserve the use of internal combustion engine cars."

(Organizations like this are available around the world, not just you, Japan, because fuel car lovers are around the world, and fuel cars will never extinct.)

2. Another similar case is "Japan eyes Chinese tram for Mount Fuji" that is Japan considering to use Chinese vehicles.

h0ngcom thought that tourists who come to Japan expect to ride Japanese vehicles, not Chinese vehicles. If they come to Japan but still need to ride Chinese vehicles..... Some tourists are concerned about safety, or feel that Japan is less worth visiting or less different from China. It is definitely not good for Japan.
