I think it's a good form of advertising.
As a Thai man, I really see that advertising product in Japanese language (and Japanese styles) makes product looks much better around the world.
Of course, make the product available in Japan (and make people around the world know that) makes it looks better around the world.
Thai advertising usually creates creative image or funny image. Japanese advertising can creates many good images (such as quality image, high-standard image), which helps gain acceptance from around the world.
